What We Do

Our Programmes

Nine integrated strategic areas designed around the interconnected needs of vulnerable children, families, and communities in Northern Uganda.

Health, Rehabilitation and Community Care

BHF works to improve access to quality, inclusive, continuous, and dignified health and rehabilitation services for vulnerable individuals and households. Our approach includes strengthening community-level care, supporting vulnerable children and persons with disabilities, strengthening referral pathways, building caregiver capacity, and working with health systems and local authorities.

A particular area of technical focus is support to populations affected by Nodding Syndrome and disability, including access to health, rehabilitation, nutrition, psychosocial support, caregiver support, and social inclusion.
